Clipboard Won't Work

T

Thomas_Dark

I have a machine where after a period of time the clipboard
functionality (the ability cut, copy and paste) does not work.
Rebooting DOES work but it would be nice to have some other way to
're-initialize' the clipboard without having to logoff or reboot.

Anyone have any ideas?

Some programs (eg., Word and Excel) can show the Clipboard and allow you to
clear it. That might help you.

Click on "View"/"Task Pane".

If the Task Pane on the right doesn't show the Clipboad, (eg., It might show
the Help panel), at the top of the pane, click on the down arrow (next to the
X that closes the panel). Click on "Clipboard"

Near the top of the Clipboard pane, there is a "Clear All" button that can
be clicked.
