Are photos gone or on computer somewhere???

Can anyone help? I accidently stopped coping some photos from one folder to
another before all photos had imported and then deleted them from the memory
card not realising they hadn't finished importing to the new folder. Im
hoping because i used the copy and paste functions they might be on the
clipboard? If this is the case where is the clipboard - how do i access it.

Go to tools,R.click on it,in the new window,R.click,new shortcut,type:
C:WINDOWS\system32\clipbrd.exe
You now have a shortcut to it in tools....

There is software that can attempt to recover files erased from a memory
card. However, no promises. Look on the internet.

There is a clipboard viewer utility available as part of the Windows system
tools - it is not installed by default so you will need your XP system disc
or
installation files to add it.

However - unless you are completely sure you have not copied / pasted
anything - or rebooted the pc - since you did this, then the chances are
that the images are no longer in the clipboard.

I would try Leonard's suggestion of finding some recovery software for your
memory card.

Open up WordPad or photo editor..

Try using the paste command. If it is grayed out, there is nothing in
clipboard.

In future, use the 'send to' command or use drag and drop. Do NOT copy and
paste..

Try this program to recover files from the memory card..

If you have not used the Paste function since then and did not reboot it would
(paste) work again with whatever you copied. Otherwise follow the advice of others

O.J
Google for photorecovery.exe
It recovered all my photos from my SD card that I thought I had lost when my
camera started playing up.

It's unlikely. And,. if you've restarted the system, it's not possible.
