Clients unable to access Intranet

My intranet works on 192.168.224.0/255.255.255.0 & i have
direct connection to internet through ISP from router .
My VPN server has two ethernet adapters. One has Intranet
IP & the other has Internet IP . I can ping both the
networks ie, intranet & internet through VPN server. I
have allocated address pool of 192.168.224.225-
192.168.224.254 (30) to VPN clients. My VPN client gets
connected to VPN server but he is not able to ping or
access my Intranet. Gateway assigned to VPN client
automatically is the same as their IP address getting
allocated from VPN server i.e,
192.168.224.226/255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.224.226. So
how can i assign gateway to these VPN clients so that
they speak to my Intranet .Is there any route to be
specified on my VPN server ?

That is correct. The gateway setting on the VPN client is the same IP as
its "received" IP address. The gateway for the client is the VPN link, and
that is the IP associated with the link. All that really means is that the
client will send all traffic across the VPN link to the VPN server. And the
server should have a host route back to the client through the link.

Can you ping a LAN machine from the VPN client by its IP address? If you
can, the routing is all working, and your problem is probably name
resolution.

machines. My DNS is configured properly . Any

You didn't really answer the question. Can you ping by IP address? If you
can't, your VPN is not configured correctly. If you can, but can't ping by
name then your DNS is not configured correctly.
