Client for Microsoft Networks..

Everything was working OK last week. Then I lost Client for Microsoft
Networks which is supposed to let me get Network Resources, from Network
Connections/Properties. It's greyed out.
Microsoft help offers some suggestions to get it back but to no avail.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem. I'd appreciate your help.
Thanks

Go to Device Manager, un-install the network adapter, and reboot. The
system will re-install the network adapter and create a new network
connection that should have Client for Microsoft Networks enabled.
