Client connects to RAS but cannot ping

I've recently inherited a 2000 RAS server and all is working except one client ( the furthest away ). The 2000 pro client connects to the RAS server ( all the logs look fine ) but it cannot ping anything else on the network and cannot be pinged itself. I managed to get the ipconfig results from the pc and it's setup the way it should and looks ok. I've dailed in with my home pc to check the connection and settings are the same and works fine. Any have any ideas???

Did you check the tracert output? Is firewall configured?

Can you check if the "default gateway" option is set on the properties of
your RAS connectoid ? If so, then your gateway would have changed by which
you may not be able to reach any other machine.

Thanks,
Priya.
