Client connects once to Domain, but not after rebooting!

Just added a brand new XP Pro PC to a Windows 2000 Domain. I joined the
domain using network wizard, this works fine. I have another new PC with XP
Pro joining the domain and I did it manually, both of the PC's are the same
models. Both PC's join the Domain with no problem. One the next morning give
the error message "Windows cannot connect to the Domain either because the
domain controller is down or otherwise unavailable or because your computer
account isn't found". Then I have the PC join a workgroup, restart and join
the domain again and it work perfectly! What needs to be done keep this error
from happening?? Any help would be apprecaited.

Are the computers ghosts (imaged)? Did you do a sysprep before you ghosted?
Do they have different names? Something must be confllicting, SID, name,
etc.

No, they weren't ghost images, each was came pre-installed.
