If you open up the tsadmin.exe utility, how is your RDP
listener listed? Is it listed as "down"?

Hi!

Try to check you security tab in TS configuration. Maybe
you do not have rights to login?

Hi,

Every user has got full rights to login and the problem is
that whenever I remove the service pack 3 or 4 , all the
users are able to login. No user can connect after
installing service pack 3 or 4. I have reinstall RDP
connector. Checked the properties of TS configuration,
everything is same. No event in event viewer.

The only thing I found that after the installation of
service pack 3/4, it does not listen on port 3389. How can
I solve this problem HELPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!

Thanks

Hi there,
I've had the same problem, i think.
Before SP3 the only way to get access to newly made userprofiles as an
administrator was to take ownership. In SP4 there is a new policy-setting:
"Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/System/Logon/Do not check
for user ownership of Roaming Profile Folders". Enabling this policy will
prevent the checking and users, not owning there profilefolders, will be
able to log in again. Alternatively you could change ownership of these
folders to the respective users.
Hope this is of any help,

This workes on windows 2000 workstations but i does not fix the problem with
roaming profiles on the Win2000 terminal server.
