Terminal Server clients cannot connect after W2000 Ser. Pack installation!

Hi,

I have Terminal Server on Windows 2000 Server. Windows
2000 service Pack 2 is installed right now. I have 10
users license pack for terminal server clients.

When I install Windows 2000 service pack 3 or 4, no user
can connect to the server!!

I Checked the event viewers but no error messages at all.
I checked the network connection, it is fine. I also
created RDP connector after the service pack installation
but no luck.

Please advice me what to do in this condition. I need to
install service pack 4 and security patches asap. I will
be thankful to you. It is very urgent.

Thanks in advance

When you install these service packs, can you then ping
the server or telnet to port 3389?

If you can't that means you are having some kind of
network problem os the terminal services' listening port
is down.

Hi,

I was able to telnet 3389 port when I installed service
pack. I checked every possiblity of network connection but
there was nothing wrong with network.

I don't know what the service pack does to block the users
from accessing the server.

Pls. reply.

thanks
