clicking user name to log on

My computer use to boot up straight to the desktop - but now - It boots to
the user log-on screen, where I have to click my user name. I am the only
user, and would like to bypass this and boot straight to the desktop. How
do I skip this step?

This is a result of the .NET update. Go Start | Run and type in "control
userpasswords2" (no quotes) and click OK. Uncheck the box that says "Users
must enter a user name and password..." Apply and follow the prompts. Your
system should now boot straight to the desktop :)
