clicking problem

Hi
I have finished a full recovery on my WindowsXP and I cannot get the double
click to open programs. Can someone please tell me how to 'fix' it.

Make sure that the double click rate didn't get set to "FAST". Try dbl
clicking super fast and see if that works. The settings are in control
panel in the mouse applet.
