clicking on internet shortcuts opens the printer!!

running XP sp2.

when i right click on the links in my start/favorites folder, the menu
options have changed. it used to say Open and when i clicked on it it would
open the webpage. Now, the right click menu says print where it used to say
open. and thus when i LEFT click on the link it opens the printer! this just
changed 'by itself' a few days ago.

thoughts, ideas?
