clicking noise (links)

Hopefully this is a simple problem. With my XP, whenever I clicked a link in
internet explorer, my computer would make a similar clicking noise that would
tell me that I actually clicked the link. It's a tough sound to describe,
other than to say it sounds like a clicking. Anyway, for some reason this
sound doesn't play anymore. I know it's a small, petty thing but I miss the
clicking sound. Any idea on how to fix? Thanks in advance.

Hi Nick...
Open Control Panel
Open Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices
Open Sounds and Audio Devices
Click the Sounds Tab at the top of the window that opens.
Here you can check and preview all your sounds...maybe finding the one you no
longer hear and can assign it again.
Post back if you have any trouble.
