Clicking "New Question" in newgroup gives a popupblocker, no box.

I'm trying to post a new question, but am unable to get the window for it,
only the popup blocker sign. "comment" window (this) works fine. Security
issue or what?
What I'm trying to find out is a "no audio" on XP home, SP2, never has
worked, onboard bios audio enabled, Realtec AC97 driver enabled and driver up
to date, all volume controls on, no mutes throughout, FINALLY have volume
control program, it looks ok, only thing is that balance for pc speakers
grayed out (cause I have built in flat panel speakers?) I've tried everything
I could find in pc doctor and all newsgroup answers pertaining. Still
nothing.
 
Try the Speaker settings. Control Panel, Sounds app, Volume tab, speaker settings area, advanced button. Try several settings with
an "Apply"
