Clicking links in emails hangs OE

Hi
When I click a link in any email message I receive, Outlook Express just hangs and doesn't do anything! I have to Ctrl-Alt-Del and shut OE down. The internet icon on bottom right of screen shows activity though but OE just hangs. It has been working fine for ages and I can read and send emails but just not folow links.

I have all the latest SP's and updates. Any ideas?? Have my kids done this??
