Click on a hyperlink goese to locate link browser not web page

When I click on a hyperlink in an email in outlook, I get a box requesting
locate brower instead of getting the webapage. How do I correct this
 
Point it to IEXPLORE.EXE and/or reset your Internet Web Settings;
Control Panel-> Internet Options-> tab Programs-> button Reset Web
Settings...
