Could anyone tell me how I can clear the RUN history in Windows XP Pro?

Right-click "Start" -> Properties -> Start Menu (Tab) -> Customize
Click "Classic Start Menu" then click "Customize" beside it.
Click "Clear".
"OK" your way out.

However, that link clears the recently used programs list. I would like to
clear the Run list.
 
How about adding this (in the registry, for the key shown):

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"ClearRecentDocsOnExit"=dword:00000001

That's what I have to clear it after rebooting.

On my machine, it clears the Run list too.

If you go to RUN then Regedit, Then go to find and in this type in RUNMRU. Then on the right you will see a list of all. just delete the names in the middle dont touch the top and bottom . This is 100 % as i have been using this for years. Best of Luck.
