| After clearing my IE6 history I always end up with one item left that turns
| up as soon as start to type a URL (autocomplete)
|
| Ive deleted all autocomplete features, even for the forms but this URL still
| survives.
|
| Every other URL is deleted but this one stays no matter what.

The first thing that I would do is to check for spyware. Adaware can be
downloaded here:
http://dw.com.com/redir?pid=1039960...://www.download.com/3001-8022_4-10399602.html

Install it, update it and run it. Delete everything that it comes up with.

If that doesn't solve the problem, then I would use hijackthis, but a little
caution needs to be used with respect to this program. If the spyware is
not the problem, repost and state that you have cleared all spyware via
Adaware.
