clearing field entry memories

You know those lists of previously entered information
that appear when filling in fields of some web pages and
forms? How do you clear them?
I inherited a computer from another family member, and now
I am constantly wading through thier past....

Hi,
From IE...
Tools> Options> Content> Autocomplete> Clear forms / Clear passwords.
