Clear Virtual memory pagefile -- delete or wipe??

When you enable "Clear Virtual Memory Pagefile" in your security police,
does it just deletes the file on exit (as if del file.name from command
prompt), or does it actually wipes it (or writes zeros to file), something
like a DoD wipe???
