clear out pagefile on shutdown

Is it safe or make your machine work better if you clear out the
pagefile on shutdown. I did a reghack to do this(clear out the pagefile
on shutdown) and was wondering if it was good or not. Also, the "no page
file" setting in virtual memory. Is this the same thing? What is the
best way to set all those settings in there? I have my virtual memory
set to twice my physical memory on initial size and max size. How do yo
guys set all these settings in the virtual memory manager. I'm running
winxp home. thanks........johnny

A good rule-of-thumb is to set your minimum at 1.5 times your physical
memory and set maximum at 3 times your physical memory.

Your best bet is to leave that tweak alone.
