Clear History

When I try to clear the History in Internet Explorer 6, I get erractic results. Sometimes it clears, sometimes it doesn't. Any ideas as to what the problem is?
 
With no IE windows open, try it from Control Panel> Internet Options>
General> Clear History.

You might need to delete a damaged History folder- a new one will be
created on restart.

Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder in Windows 9x,2K, XP.

Another program might be locking your history.
