clear history url in ie

To clear the history in URL bar in IE, we can do this: Tools | Internet
Options | General | Clear History

However, it only clear URLs with prefix http://www.

I dont know why, but I have some prefix like this which I want to clear as
well.
http--www.yahoo.com

any ideas? thanks!

try this:
Click Tools/Internet options/Content/autocomplete
Then hit the "Clear Forms" button
You may have to empty your temp Internet files as well to
get rid of all your "history"
