clear history, not "Clear History" or "Clear Forms" or TypedURLS

Now I'm really curious. I cannot seem to clear the history completely.
I have at least 3 URLs that display in IE's history bar that I know
about that I cannot get rid of. We have the computer setup with one
account. I went to Tools->Internet Options, Clear History. I went to
Tools->Internet Options, Content tab, AutoComplete and Clear Forms.
But they are still there. They are not in the Favorites. I checked the
TypedURLs key in the registry and it is cleared, I even searched the
Registry for part of the URL. I searched for all files containing
<part of the URL> (including system and hidden files), still couldn't
find it. What am I missing?

Go back to General tab of Options menu and set number of days to keep
history to 0.

Nick,
Corruption in the History folder or it's index.dat file can cause this.

Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder (and the index.dat file) and a new one will be created when
you restart.
Or the History folder can be deleted manually:

Thanks guys! I ended up creating a new user, logging off this one and
onto the new one, deleting the History and Temoprary Internet Folders
for this one as you suggested and then switched back and removed the
temporary user. Worked like a charm.
