Clear History Button

The clear history button is greyed out. What is the fix.
I think it may be related to another problem I'm having.
My browser incounters "the page cannot be displayed on
certain web sites but not others. I can open to some
secured web sites but no Google or Microsoft.

If you cannot use any search engine.

Be sure that you install hotfix 828750 which fixes the exploit that this
virus uses:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/critical/828750/default.asp

It may be a HOSTS file problem if not able to get to some sites.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.
