Clear all data in a form/subform

I realise this has been asked (in some form or another) many times
before but I simply can't find the answer I'm looking for.

I have a form with a subform and want four control buttons:

(1) SaveAndNew
(2) SaveAndClose
(3) CloseNoSave
(4) ClearForm

The first two were simple because the default behaviour of Access is to
automatically save. I think I've managed (3) but what I've read
recently (http://tinyurl.com/3ckj6k) sugests that this may not work
properly because of the subform. I've tried using the 'delete record'
function but never seemed to get the syntax correct; apparently the
command was "not available at this time", whatever that means(!). Is
there any way to simply click-to-clear a form and subform completely?

Hi Dave,

Thanks for your opinion - I had actually thought it looked a bit busy
but wasn't sure. Now I know I'm causing problems for myself I'll
definately just make two.

What do people normally do when they make a mistake or change their
minds when filling in a form? It seems strange that a 'user' (i.e. not
an administrator) would need to go into a table to manually remove
records!
