Thanks John and as you guessed I'm not only new at using this forum but my
computer skills are somewhat, in fact very much limited.
I'm not even sure where the "scroll down list" is. Thanks for your reponse.

There are lots of different ways to get to the newsgroups - and I have
no idea which you are using, or how you are getting there.

But try this link:

http://support.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.aspx

On the left side of the screen is a tree view; navigate through
English... Redesigned List... Office and Desktop... Excel and find an
appropriate group there.

Or, point your Outlook Express "News" browser to msnews.microsoft.com
and take a look at the microsoft.public.excel newsgroups.
