Cleaning kits are available at Radio Shack, Best Buy and Circuit City fo

error messages? Check below website article

Thanks Byte for your help..I no longer have "support" for my computer so I have to reserach on my own..Anyway I have alwasy burned CD's ok..Now I am getting an "error message" that says "Hardware Error" and another CD I made skips now when I put it in...What doyou suggest? thank you
Insert a music/MP3 disk and play it. Does it play alright? Try some differen
options, such as a data disk and see if it reads it. If it does then your readin
phase is OK but maybe your writing is getting bad and you may need a whol
new CD burner. A cleaning kit is less expensive then a new burner, so yo
could try that first. Good luck.
