Clean Registry

As i install and desinstall a lot of programs, I like to know how i can clean
the registry from dups and invalid entrys.

The usual answer to this question is, 'if you are not competent enough to
edit the registry manuall, then don't touch it.' This is sound advise
because a lot of 'commercial' registry cleaner make a hash of things. one
registry cleaner i have found useful, though is AMUST registry cleaner (see
my review: http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org/amust_registry_cleaner.htm )

I should point out that AMUST registry cleaner has come a long way since my
initial review and now 'does' include a backup reminder. The backup reminder
was my main worry with this software because it initally never asked whether
you wanted to backup your registry prior to the software editing it. The
developer has now added a backup option and this has really improved the
software tremendously.
