Install xp cd,boot to cd after a restart, (you might need to adjust the
BIOS for this,boot device priority or similiar),once it starts,at info screen
select,install xp,new copy,delete current partition,create one,then let
xp format and install.
Clean install is simply formatting the HD first. (Clean it) Simply insert your
XP CD into the reader and follow instructions. You may have to change your
Bios boot sequence first. I.E. Boot from the CD.
