clean install after update

I updated XP with Vista. It is sluggish and hangs a lot. Some one told me I
should do a clean install on top of the upgrade. Can I do that and does
anyone know how? Thanks

Yes you can, which version of Vista do you have? The procedure is different
for full versions vs. upgrades.
