I just bought Flight Simulator X and installed it on my Vista Home Premium
64 system. The next time I rebooted I found that the game was nowhere to be
found in my Start menu. It did not make a group, nor was it an item in the
Games folder.

I eventually found that when i was in the default Vista Start Menu mode FSX
was actually in the Games folder. Another Vista wierdness. Since I
prefer to use the Classic Start Menu I ended up making a Shortcut for the
game and moved the Shortcut to the Games folder.

that is odd, putting a game in the game folder.

My point is that when you are using the Classic Start Menu you don't see the
game icon that was installed. The installation only is visible from the
Vista style Start Menu.
