since termserv app mode is required and obviously won't run on cluster,
citrix is not possible on a windows 2000 cluster?

Technically - no. Reallistically - yes.

Yes for any real user connectivity.
No for just administrator (or 2 remote 1 console) connectivity.

What this is good for is having a Citrix Terminal Server with Administrator
applications on it and using it when possible for remote administration over
VPN connection.(of course TS alone can handle this - but Win2K has limited
color depth and works via WIN32 clients) We need the multi-client
abilities.

Why would you need a cluster if you're using Citrix Metaframe, which has its'
own load balancing.

the cluster already exists and are moving to a new software application that
is terminal
termserv obviously won't work so citrix was next option without breaking the
cluster
i was told by a citrix reseller that that isn't an option for us because of
being a cluster
are you saying that it can be used on a cluster, using it's own load
balancing while keeping the data files on a cluster resource?
