CIDAEMON.EXE causes a huge spike in page file usage history

After the computer has run for 10 minutes, a huge spike in
the page file usage history occurs (normally from 100-200
Mb to 1.0 Gb). Also it begins to run the CIDAEMON.EXE
process with a huge memory usage (abourt 40,000 K). This
occurs every time the computer is rebooted, whether the
computer is idle or running programs.

Does anyone know how to remedy this problem?
