I had to re install Win2K PRO on my system it now startsup with a
screen that gives me a choice of Win2k or Windows. Well I don't have
windows anymore and If I highlight that and enter it just goes to a
dos bar on a black screen. Is there something in the regestry or what
that I can blow off and get the system to not go here anymore ?

Thanks

Simply edit C:\Boot.ini to remove the unnecessary line(s).

1) Click Start > Run, Type "Cmd" and then press <Enter>.

2) Type "Cd\" and then press <Enter>

3) Type "Attrib C:\Boot.ini -h -r -s" and then press <Enter>

4) Click Start > Run, Type "Notepad c:\boot.ini" and then press
<Enter>

5) Edit the file as desired, save it, and then exit Notepad.

6) Type "Attrib C:\Boot.ini +h +r +s" and then press <Enter>

7) Close the command console.

Bruce I can not find a Boot.ini on my system. I did find a place in
the adminstrator program that let me turn off the dual boot thing. So
it is now a done deal. Has Win2K a Boot.ini somewhere?
