Changing "Select OS" Choices

Running WinXP Pro/SP2 with all current patches. When I boot my system I get
to a "Select OS" screen with three choices (Regular XP, Safe Mode and
Install XP). The default selection is the "Install" option. How can I remove
the Install option and make the Regular XP the default selection?

Right click on My Computer and select Properties. Go to the Advanced tab
and click Settings under Startup and Recovery. Set your default operating
system in the drop list. To remove the Install option click the Edit
button. This will open your boot.ini file in notepad for editing. In the
[operating systems] section remove the entry for the Install option and save
your changes.
