Where can I find the "status report" when I schedule CHKDSK to run on a Win
XP Home SP2 systems at start-up? I've searched for .log file but nothing.

Start > Run: eventvwr.exe > Application > Winlogon.

Maybe I'm missing something but I can't get event viewer to show me anything
about chkdsk status report?
What does the "Winlogon" parameter imply?

I used: Start, run, eventvwr.exe chkdsk Winlogon and got nothing but an
error about connecting to a computer called "chkdsk". Got rid of that error
and Event Viewer showed up but with nothing from CHKDSK.

"Winlogon" is the name of that related entry. If it's long ago since
running CHKDSK, you have to scroll down within the "Application"
section in order to find that particular entry. Otherwise, that entry
is pretty much on top of the list.

According to its name, the event viewer is a "viewer". Usually, there is
no need for any additional input.

I got it now. Thanks a bunch. It was right in front of me and I missed it.
