I want to run chkdsk and have the results go to a log
file. How can I do that?

Now, I can see the report when check disk is finished,
but it is only up for a few seconds and then disappears,
so I cannot read the whole thing.

I've looked in the Dr. Watson log, but that doesn't have
the information. Can anybody help?

Thanks,

John

Go to Control Panel > Admin. Tools > Event Viewer > Winlogon
after running Chkdsk to see the report.

You missed a couple of steps...

Control Panel / Performance and Maintenance / Administrative Tools /
Event Viewer

Then select Application and look for Winlogon.
