My computer keeps going into chkdsk when I start, either
on C or D drives and in event viewer I get event ID
55 'The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and
unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume c
(or D):'
When I run WD's disk diagnostic program it finds no
errors, and chkdsk happily fixes the errors (usually
index related) everything is fine again for a couple of
restarts.
I have tried turning off indexing but it is still the
same. I have a large quantity of 3D related files on D:
drive and I am not sure if this is the cause.
Any constructive suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
