CHKDSK : CANNOT OPEN VOLUME FOR DIRRECT ACCES

Hi , everytime I wanna chkdsk my C: (windows drive) I get this message (cannot open volume for dirrect acces)
I'm using a sata raid configuration (mirroring). But I'm able to chkdsk my second partition on it (D :

Can someone help me

My mobo : Gigabyte 7NNX
sata drives = 2 * Seagate Barracuda 120 gb/8mb SAT
sata controller : silicon image

all drivers are installed correctly and I don't see any errormessages in my device management

chkdsk /f doesn't like running against the system drive, it should ask you
if you want to schedule the check at next boot-up. this is normal.
