Paul

I just wanted to post to let people know that if you see
the message

"The type of file system is NTFS. Cannot open volume for
direct access"

from chkdsk when it runs from Windows startup, I fixed the
problem by uninstalling my Norton AntiVirus s/w and then
chkdsk ran OK.

Obviously I then re-installed it before connecting to the
net and had done a complete system scan with NAV before
the uninstall

Thanks, Paul for the post. Even though it has been previously noted, this
will help others.
