CHKDSK at startup!!!

Whenever I start up my computer a program named CHKDSK runs at startup. I
recently right clicked my C drive and went to Check fo errors. It said it
had to do at startup and does it every single time. I see no way to turn it
off. I let it run fully once but it still wont stop. How can I stop it?

I have a HP pavilon a350n. I also already turned off system restore as
suggested in other Forums.

Please help!!!

Try Start/Run/Cmd enter Chkntfs /x C see if that works. (Note spaces) This
also assumes you have NTFS rather than FAT32.
