Chipset drivers

Jeff

Our manufacturing is changing chipsets. They are currently using the Intel
845 chipset and they are switching to the Intel 865 chipset. Can I support
both chipsets in one image? How is this accomplished?

I tried putting both chipset component sets into the same image and the
image wouldn't boot. I know that the components are working independently (I
tested each one), but not together. I guess the alternative is to have two
OS images, one for each hardware configuration, but I think this might
confuse everybody, both customers and manufacturing.

Thanks,

-Jeff-
