Chinese titled attachment error

I'm trying to attach a word document that is titled in Chinese. I am
using Windows XP, and Office 2000 Professional. When I try to attach a
document that has a Chinese filename, I keep getting the error message
"The file name, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect"
How can I get this to work? Can I??

You would have to run Outlook in Unicode mode, which unfortunately is
not supported in Outlook 2000; you need Outlook 2003 or higher for this.
You will have to rename the document to an alphabetic name if you need
to send it with Outlook 2000.

P.S. The Chinese version of Outlook 2000 will of course allow
attachments with a Chinese name.
