child windows take a long time to open

When I click on a link that opens a daughter window --
say, for a web-email program or to write this messge --
IE6.0 on XP/Home takes a very long time to open. It isn't
fast at all. I un-installed Google's tool bar and my
virus checker, and I restarted. Yet there's no
difference. Help!
 
try spybot from safer-networking.org and see if any
spyware on your daughters computer
and use a better browser from mozilla.org firefox.
and googles toolbar is an okay toolbar in basic install.for
internet explorer.
