checksum error

Trying to install ARC780. When I try to run the program I get this error msg
"Mem780.exe checksum error:E54F" I have tried everything that I know of.
Can't restore cuz it was turned off.. Deleted winsock7.dla from windows
system dir. went into the directory and removed all inferences of ARC780.
removed ARC780 directory from the hard drive. tried installing it on a
different hard drive.. still the same thing..

I used the same disc and installed it on my laptop and it runs with no
problem.

It ran on this computer 2 times before I put in the wrong password. That's
when it all happened. I just miss typed the password and that's what
happened.. have a call into their tech support but they are located in the
Netherlands..

Rikki, did you look in C:\Program Files for a ARC Folder. Also check in
the registry.
Start>Run type: regedit Navigate to Hkey_Current_User\Software
delete any Arc folder
same in Hkey_Local_Machine\Software
