Check port 9000

Hi,

I've have bn trying to get a l'espion mini webcam to
work. Netmeeting detects and runs it OK but Messenger,
and as well Yahoo messenger, can not run it. they,
however, do not say that they can't find the cam.

Also I run the audio & video tuning wizard. It shows you
the cam input but still doesnt work.

I have bn asked to check port 9000 is availible for video
by support technicians but have bn unable to do this.

Anyone have any ideas?
