check name in outlook

outlook xp EXCH 200
we have one user that we changed his alias ..now whenever we type his new alias in the TO field (new message) his name and <old initial> is there !! when we type old initial and hit cltr-k there is no matching in the GAL
my Q. why outlook still showing the <old initial> and from where i can changed it .
i double checked active dir. & exchange ..all showing New initial !!
any help
 
Because Outlook caches the address you type, if you type in the new address
does it work, also you can delete the incorrect entry by highlighting it and
deleting.
 
You may have a corrupt cache, deleting a file with an extension *.nk2 will
delete the cache (and ALL the entries).
