Check my RAM Speed

There's nothing that needs "balancing" when you overclock. You just take
everthing as fast as it will go :)

Ok, sounds rational to me too now.
The FSB is usually quite capable of 200MHz (the rest of the chip is often
capable of 10 times that, so why not?), often you can reduce the multiplier
and you're fine.

What testing utilities would you use? For checking if the system works
properly?

Memtest86 seems to spot errors pretty quickly, it's usually run from a boot
disk... 5 minutes later you can be reasonalbly sure of stability... enough
to up the FSB some more (assuming you are running FSB and memory in synch,
which is the preferred configuration) anyway. Give it an hour or so for
final stability test.

Once you know RAM is stable, boot to Windows and use Prime95 Torture test -
it seems to work the ALU pretty hard and tells you when there's been a
calculation that is outside of expected range. I also use Prime95 Torture
test to make the CPU work to 100% load (better on it's own than running
several programs together, as there is less task switching and greater
efficiency), and then MBM5 to monitor temps under load.
