check for mail instantly in outlook 2007

Just got Vista and Office 2007. I can set Outlook to check for messages as
quickly as every minute, but not constantly. Is there a way to receive each
message instantly as it is received, rather than waiting until each minute
passes? Outlook 2003 would post a message instantly, as soon as it was
received, and not have to wait until it checked it each minute.

No. It's not good to check it more often than 8 -10 min - it adds undue
stress to the mail server. It can cause outlook to stop checking for new
mail until you restart it.
