When you turn on the computer it runs check disk saying it
needs to check if it is OK. Everything that I ahve tried
to stop this does not work. I tried to Defrag the diek,
but it will not let me as it says Check Disk is running.
When I go to the CMD prompt it says it is running. I don't
know how to stop it.

Thnaka in advance for any ideas.

right click on local disk and then go to properties and
then tools, click on check now and untick any boxes

Hi!
Click Start >Run >type "regedit" > ok
Navigate to
HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session
Manager
Double click the "BootExecute" value, and remove all the
entries
If this dosnt clear the problem you may well have a problem
with your Hard Drive go to the manifacturers website for
diagnostic tools.
